I bought the guitar here in germany. Does that mean that the guitar was imported from the USA or was it originaly shipped to germany?

souls, did you buy your guitar used or new? If you bought it used, it really doesn't matter - likely somebody bought it in the USA at a Guitar Center and brought it over to Germany. If you bought it new, that's a whole other issue indeed.

I bought it used here in Germany so its OK. What seems strange to me is the fact that the pickups are not (as usual) adjustable in their height. I thought all 6-sting JPs have this feature?

No, the JP pickups are all mounted directly to the body.
