Yeah. I gotta admit, the upcharge is a bit more than I expected. That's okay, though. It's not much more than I expected.

well even though im not getting a blue dawn, a $500 up charge on standard models wouldnt really bother me that much. Thats not to say that $500 isnt alot of money for me, but more that I trust EBMM enough to realise that the increase wouldnt be for nothing and that if im paying the extra, then im going to be getting something which alot more effort has gone into, and to me thats worth it.
When i told people what i was paying for my 30th over here in the merry old land of Oz, they gaped at me, told me i was mad, and one person even punched me, but it didnt really bother me because i knew the amount of effort that had gone into those 30ths and i knew i was getting something special.
so yeh, i think people sometimes also forget that EBMM's for how good they are, are VERY reasonably priced.
also HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY TO ALL THE THE AUSSIE FORUMITES!

well not to that severity, but i got a fairly hard punch to the arm by a mate. took me by surprise it did
most people were just polite enough to tell me i was an idiot, and that i should use the money to buy an old beat up car with 400,000 miles on it that would break as soon as i bought it and would forever smell like chedder cheese and probably end up killing me in some horrible car accident (not in those exact words maybe

I just found out the street price on an 07 LE and it is extremely reasonable. I paid more than that for a Czech made Spector (And the MM SR is definitely a better bass!)

cat good on ya mate! and HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!! i made pikelets for the poms and they loved them!! and i just got back from an australia day party in putney. SO much fun. about 100 kiwis, aussies, saffas and poms crammed in the top level flat. i wore my australia shirt and never felt more patriotic
