Thats not correct! I definately know that the german 6-string JPs are delivered with the pickups adjustable in their height.
JP's have direct mounted pups and cannot be adjusted. Perhaps you are thinking of the OLP version of the JP which are adjustable.
I realy mean the original Musicman JPs. Maybe its a difference between the USA and the german JPs but in germany they are definately adjustable. I can upload a review of the 6-string JP from the most famous german guitar magazine (Gitarre&Bass) where they commend that the 6-sting have this feature while the 7-string didn't have this in an older review.
