Hi Rob,

I have three guitars with dual humbuckers already.

Originally I started looking for another guitar that "does it all" with 5-way humbuckers, then realized I've been there, done that, and never really succeeded.

So I went and listened to all the P90 recordings/demos I could find - and I liked what I heard. To be honest, a big part of it was everyone's recommendation here, and I love the idea of "silent" P90s. So I decided to be adventurous and try the M90s.

I'd go with the MM90s too, if I were to pick up another ASS or AL. They sound killer.

Oh... duh! you said "SSS". I didn't even know the Axis is available with 3 singles, thought it was just HH or MM90s. If that's possible, I'd certainly have considered it.

The Axis SuperSport is not available with SSS, so don't sweat it!

I have a weak for a honeyburst but for an AL I would go for a Cherryburst.
