You've probably seen this bass before...it belonged to Armybass. Now it's mine! I just wanted to show it off a little more. :D

And with its 4-string companion:

It looked great when Scott had it and it looks good and comfy where it is at now. Enjoy that Bill. Play it lots. Congrats for snagging such a great SR5.

I sure will! I had a band practice tonight, and the SR5 felt right to me. Can't wait for its first gig on Friday!

For some reason, I'm not having any trouble adapting to this 5-string like I did with my previous one. I guess I played the other one enough to get comfortable with it, but it wasn't the right time for me to have a 5er. Anyway, I'm diggin' this one!

I had a F*nder Jazz 5 string, and I hated it. The B string was loose and played like a wet noodle, it kind of made me stay away from 5 strings, I though all 5 strings felt that way..... until many years down the road I played a SR5 at a local store, and It blew me away, played so smooth and felt just like a 4 string, but actually had 5 strings. Amazing.
I now have GAS for a SR5 Sunburts, Torted!
Thats my next bass, get ready Mr. Dubaldo!!!!

army bass has went through as many of our basses as Elvis went through groupies.

BP, if the King went through as many groupies as I have EBMM products.....that might have been what killed him instead of the narcotics. But I don't want to rewrite history.
Wait till I get my promotion as a gubment slacker and can afford to venture into guitars. Richmond Music Center (where I work part time, hey Dan) will be ordering at least one Trans Red Albert Lee. That is my desire as well as a fretless SR5 and..............

BTW, I got Bill's Natural Stingray and another HB SR5 in my gig bag these days and now the phone is ringing with all the electric bass gigs that seemed to have dried up in 2006. Have Stingray, will travel. Pics on the way!

Woo-hoo! Nothing like having a new bass & a pile of gigs to go with it!
