You know, when foggy FINALLLY buys a EBMM guitar.....we're all going to have even more G.A.S.... why?? because it's going to be a HUGE celebration, and BP is going to chime in with a limited edition Foggy delight color with NO inlays!

The coloor will be a new state of the art light bending paint that will render the guitar invisible.... all you can see in the strings, tuners, fretboard and pickups and they will be seeming to just float there.... Maybe be able to see the head stock depending on weather or not you got the matching option or not.

Now here's the kicker, paint like that's going to be MAJOR EXPENSIVE... so, no one will be able to order one, and all have to collect the pictures from the internet and we'll all be like foggy! YAY!!

Wow, that was one hell of a setup...

Hey Beej - nice DIY Strat ... What neck did you use ?

Thanks Spud! The original neck was hand built by me (from gluing the wood, carving with a spokeshave, truss rod, etc.). It eventually warped, so I replaced it with one from Warmoth (Seattle-based aftermarket parts manufacturer). The Warmoth neck is great- it's no EBMM neck, but it does the trick. If you're looking for a strat neck check their site- they often sell of necks that were refused by customers or not picked up, etc. and they knock down the prices.

Hey Foggy- if you're coming in town in the future, definitely look me up! Sounds good.

Ain't that the truth!!!

Last Sunday I played a buddy's Luke (Big Mike, member here) and another buddy's Silo.

Yesterday I put a Blue Pearl Silo on Layaway!

Yeah, Foggy.

I had to shake my head when I read that you actually had the go ahead from your family to get your first Ball. I can't believe you resisted the temptation. But I do understand. You've got your dream guitar set in your mind so you're going to wait for that. But since you've got the go ahead from your family, why don't you put your dream guitar on order, so you can get the monkey off your back.:D

The last time I was at the Fret, I almost bought the Black Cherry Burst Axis SS that they've got. But knew I couldn't do it right now with my Dargie JP on order. They play mind tricks by having the sight of the EBMM's smack you right in the face when you walk in the door.

The guys there are nice. The owners; Dave and Grant are very friendly. And I've talked to Tim before as well. He's a nice guy as well. My buddy Mike McAvan works there so it gives me the excuse to go to the store every couple of weeks. Just have to leave my credit card at home.:D

HI There G Man,

It's Mike! I'm impressed that you got the spelling right on the name. It's such a proper and easy Scottish name, but it gets butchered all the time. That was a really fun sale for me too! The only thing that I could have done better is have a couple of colds, preferably Innis & Gunn or Hobgoblin, and a couple of juice Steaks on a BBQ going with my wife's famous potato salad.
