Why did you respond if you where too busy?
nice that you care what I do.
I did not have the time to search for the "-numbers or the other threads, but I thought it would be nice to give him the hint, that there are lots of other threads. that was a matter of 30 sec. then the kid needed a breakfast (10 a.m. in europe). so i was not too busy, just a bit busy.
that´s all, where´s the prob?

it measures the flattness or roundness of the fingerboard. The Y2D has a flatter fingerboard than the Axis SS for instance- 12" comapred to 10".

Yep, just think of the fingerboard as an arc (obviously looking along the neck :D - look from the bottom of your guitar (past the bridge) and you'll see the fretboard is curved )....
The smaller the radius, the tighter (more rounded) the arc, and vice versa.

The JP has the flattest radius for EBMM's by a long shot at 15"

What happens behind the fretboard is a different story, and is not related to the radius.
eg. My EVH, Axis and Silo all have 10" radii, with similar fretboard widths yet the necks are quite different, with the Silo having a thinner feel (front to back).

Nice description Diz.
It would be great if members could do a profile of the EB necks similar to this one, how about it guys (and galls!)

Ah right I understand it now. So you imagine a circle with a radius of 10" for example, and the arc or the circle is the arc of fretboard. That makes sense. Thanks guys!

So is there any measurement for the thickness of the neck?

I thought it was a strange thing to say, especially when the answer would have been quicker to write than what you wrote. Now that I know you're a bit thin skinned I'll write my answers a bit more carefully. ;)

I actually wasn't having a go at you, it's just sometimes hard to get that across in written form. Now, if I was replying to one of Simon's posts......

I understood that before. You must know that I´m not a native english speaker so my conversation may be bumpy. Sometimes I don´t get all the nuances. What´s about Simon´s question´s? (For exaple I don´t understand that):D
