floyd for a super sport

mate you made no mistake!!! the super sport is a fabulous guitar!!!!! I have 4 of them, they are great!

I have 4 as well. They are awesome! I asked the same question awhile back. The main screws are NOT drilled in the same place as on a floyd. Also, installing a locking nut is seriously risky as well. We'd all advise not to do it.

Yeah, you'd be best to sell it and buy a used Axis if you really want the Floyd. Installing it requires surgery.

Is that it? You're not happy with how stable the tuning is?

Welcome! Dude, you bought an awesome guitar, you have an EBMM! But as beej said you can sell it and buy the Axis. Or even better, let the Axis be your 2nd EBMM!

Sorry guys. Let me reword that. I dont have any issues with the guitar I love the guitar. I just wish i would have spent a little more money and got the axis. I just prefer the floyd. That all i was trying say. And as soon as i figure out how to post pics. I will do that

Welcome to the forums. Give yourself a little more time with Axis SS. I'm partial to the Axis, as well. But with the locking tuners, the vintage trem does surprisingly well on that guitar. You can dive pretty low and does a great job at staying in tune.
