Lots of people like wider string spacing but i find SR5's perfect for me, i still have to try a lakland but they seem very wide to me.

I really truly hate wide string spacing on 5 strings.
Any of you guys who love the spacing on the SR5, go out and try a yamaha 5string, like the John Pat. model. You will understand what I'm sayin'.

I can't wait to feel a sterling 5er!

When my Stingray 5 spaces I have to clap my hands loudly and say, "HEY, YOU! STINGRAY! Bring it back to Earth already!"

Nobody told me I was supposed to measure things. I just played mine and feel in love with it.

yeah..when i first saw laklands i thought, wow a ray bucker with a single coil. i think i'm gonna like these. But when I picked one up to play the string spacing just felt wrong to me (i had been playing my sr4 exclusively for years). I never thought I could find a 5 string that I could cope with, cause they all just felt like I was having to relearn the instrument.

Enter the SR5.

Imma believer.

The exact reason I have never owned a Lakland. The spacing felt all wrong and the board reminded me of an Ibanez, yuk.

Oh yes. I always tend to laugh a bit whenever I hold a Yamahaha 6 string bass. That fingerboard looks like an aircraft carrier. :D
The spacing on my EBMM SR5 HH is almost perfect. Wait.. I think it is. :p
