Well my Bongo showed up two days ago and I can honestly say it was well worth the wait 
On friday I walked into my local dealers very excited and they went and fetched it out of the back and presented it to me (I was gigling like a little kid when I saw the case). They layed the case down infront of me and I just sort of stared at it until the guy behind the counter yelled at me "well go ahead!". I took it back into the bass section opened the case and I think my life flashed before my eyes my Black Sapphire beautie (I still haven't come up with a suitable name)
Anyway that night I was supossed to go to an all nighter jam session at my friends church so Bongo in hands I went and after about seven hours (well into the night) I can say all were impressed with it's looks and incredible sound. I really played the heck out of it.
Greatest appreciation to Big Pops and the gang! I really couldn't ask for more when it comes to an instrument you're all awesome.
