My excitement over whenever see my UPS guy almost makes me question my sexuality.

I've got even better stuff expected for arrival on Friday. :D :D

Hey! That's the same setup I just used at a gig.

I have one of those GK shirts too. Mine's in a small though.

Look in my signature to see my feelings on GK. :)

Question....

I've never actually played through a GK...probably should just to down to GC and check one out, but I'm too lazy. The only thing I have to go on is the GK model in my bassPODxt and it sounds a lot "thinner" than some of the other models. Is that accurate?

I have a 700rb and a pod xt, they don't sound the same, close sonic caracteristics but react different to eq changes IMO.

Haven't left the house with this thing yet, but I've played through many GK amps and thin is definitely not an adjective I'd use to describe it. Maybe they crank the mids on the POD at the expense of the low end? Or maybe they crank the bottom on the other models? This particular amp seems pretty versatile thus far so I'm getting the feeling I can get anything I want out of it. When I kick the volume up a bit in the house I really feel it, too.

One of the things I really like about this is the way the EQ controls all work off of one another. The manual says they're in series mode meaning each control affects the next which makes them really versatile. As the manual also states the amp still sounds musical even with extreme settings.

Thanks for the info...

At this point I'm between the GK 1001RB-II/210 and the Markbass CMD 102P (210combo with the LittleMark II head) to pair with my Ampeg SVT-15EN cab.

Maybe you could take a picture of it with your MusicMan next to it, so we can see how big the amp is. For those of us (maybe just me) that don't know what the size of it is.
