I'm sure that someone actually "in the know" will wade in here shortly, but it appears to be a Dargie Silo bass - baritone scale - complete with its Martini glass position markers, and undoubtedly the property of BP himself.....

Silo Bass - you can check the Music Man area of the website for full specs.

It's a 30" scale 6 string tuned either A-A or E-E an octave below a guitar. - Cool instrument

Actually, the silo bass was given away in a drawing. I believe Rockin'Ray Duke won it.

By bass, do you guys mean baritone?

Those strings look way too skinny and that neck way too thin to be a standard bass guitar.

Nevermind, just looked it up. Guess it is called a Silo Bass guitar.

I would be very curious to know what gauge strings and what it's tuned to.

I didn't even know MM made a baritone. They should have that under the guitars section, because now I want one. I used to have the Ibanez MMM1, but sold it because I needed the loot. I'd love to get a baritone again, this time a MM.

After looking on the BASS side of this forums, my ignorance is now officially a suggestion. :) BP, I didn't even know this thing existed because you have BASS in the name of the instrument, therefore making me overlook it. Some people like myself (often called morons) would consider this a baritone guitar. TomAto, tomAWto. My point is, you should rename a version of this for guitar players looking for this. For example: The Music Man BARITONE GUITAR. I would have NEVER gone with Ibanez had I known you made this guitar. You're still are my hero, BP, but having bass in the name keeps guitar players from even finding this. hmm . . .
