Sideways was filmed in this area...We have very good wine being produced here. It's a great place to go wine tasting!

:D How cool was that, doing shots with Luke.

Exceedingly cool! :D Thankyou for instigating that madness! :D

I said hello to him at the aftershow in Newcastle last Tuesday. He was on good form. Didn't get a lot of time with him, everyone in the room wanted to shake his hand.

Mmm I'm desperate to do a wine tasting/Ernie Ball tour of California :D

BP, the reason you don't sleep very much is because you're too busy answering PM's :)

That, or it's guilt over not coming to the UK in April keeping you awake ;)

"Bitter cool" wind... in SLO... uh, ya...

Try living in Ottawa for a year or two BP... February typically sees temperatures at -30° Celcius or lower with the wind chill factor; that's somewhere down around -22° Fahrenheit to you old Imperialists... And yes, we do go outside in this weather...

Ah yes .... Ottawa. Home of the Rideau Canal and lovely winter skating and the infamous 'beaver tail'. Such fine Canadian cuisine.

cheers from the south

Joel

new house + new baby???????? ;)

Arrrrgh Colin hell no!!!

Well, +1 on the new house unfortunately - my legal costs keep escalating and the £4.5k I have put by for my deposit and fees isn't likely to be enough at the moment!

That and the fact that I may have to find a rather substantial amount of money to buy my first train ticket for my new job in London if they can't do a season ticket loan for me, means that I MAY need to make some money quickly. And unfortunately, offing instruments is the quickest and easiest to raise money. The thing that's gutting is that I have £1k coming my way after I move, in the deposit coming back from this flat - so I have the money, just not right now! :(

I hate the very thought of having to sell it, and I hope it doesn't come to it - but if it does, I have a buyer lined up.

I am gutted tho. I really hope things work out! I don't want to leave the MM family :(
