Hi CS reps,

I just had a quick question about the 2007 LE JP, my dealer didn't know the specifics and they're closed on Mondays so I thought I'd just ask here..

My order was placed for a JP 6 string with Piezo, with the 2007 Limited Edition package...

Does this include matching headstock, and JP's bullet inlays?

(Basically a fully loaded JP with blue dawn finish and "2007" inlay at the 12th fret?)

Thanks!

Jagged,

Matching headstock is standard on all 2007 LE Blue Dawn models, while the JP shield inlays is an up charge option. If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me [email protected] or customer service [email protected]

I was off the understanding that the 07LE JP came with the inlays as standard, it wasnt offered as an option when I ordered mine  ! Worried now that I am not going to get them...need to speak to dealer ASAP!

That's exactly why I asked and asked my dealer to look into it for me :)

I specifically ordered mine WITHOUT the JP inlays.

No fluffy dice in MY Ferrari thanks !

Spoke to my dealer and they were contacted by the distributor to ask if i wanted the inlays and they told them no. Based on the addition cost I am not going to be going for them and will stick with the good old dots and the 2007LE logo.

It's a toughy. It's funny how those little options can have you labouring on a decision when they don't affect playability or sound. You can order a black JP with a natural headstock, dot inlays, and no piezo and itll play the same as one with all the bells and whistles. But with all the goodies BP offer it's difficult not to super size it. I have had my Mystic Dream JP6 for over a year now. I went for the piezo, which i do use now and again. I also went for the matching headstock. I've seen mystic dream finishes with a natural headstock and it kind of just didn't look right. But I went for the dot inalys mainly because I felt that it was more of a personal thing for JP and it would all of a sudden look too much like a signature model.

Just my two pennies. But I don't regret going for the dots.

I've got various JPs with various combinations of the options.

My personal preference now is:-

Matching headstock
Dot inlays (classier than shields IMHO)
Non - piezo (Simpler guitar, fewer switches to knock, less knobs, no battery to go flat - good for me!)

I am for the dots as well.... His sig on the headstock is enough for me! I don't need the piezo either, so all I need is the matching headstock, which I think is a MUST. All the ones I see with non-matching headstocks look odd. Just my 2 cents...........

thats what I thought of as well...that the guitar will be exactly the same regarldes of what options that I get on it. I like the shield inlays, it gives the guitars some more flavour imo.

+1 I like the shield inlays. And after having the piezo, I'd never order a JP without one!
