hey guys,
so ya, i was MIA for a little while. no disasters or anything but work was kicking my ass left and right. essentially a short day was 12 hours and many, many nights turned into all-nighters resulting in ~ 40 hours of straight coding. good times.
anywho... things have chilled out at work (only 8-10 hours now
) so im back!
i really gotta appologize for being pseudo MIA. i did lurk about just didnt contribute much over the last couple months.
anywho... so 2 of my MM's are in the studio now... w/o me. My BC Sterling and HH Ray are chillin in the studio w/ my Little Mark 2 as a loner to my buddy/coworker who is producing one of the bands on our label. My buddy's a drummer who's done stints w/ Smashmouth, Cake, Sheryl Crow and Cracker... anywho, he called a few days ago and said "dude, theyre gonna bass track and I LOVE Music Man basses, can i borrow a couple". Obviously I said "hell ya" and dropped em off at the studio on Monday. I set em up pimp style and strung em up with Stainless Suepr Slinkys to achieve the "bling" sound described to me over the phone. I got a text message today RAVING about the tone. But that's no surprise... of course an MM is gonna kill
Anyways... I missed u guys. I know I owe you many of you a phone call... please dont hate me. I didnt forget, i swear. I'm sure people have been wondering why I havent been on IM (*cough*Tiff *cough*).
So after all this damn typing I figure it may be time for a "reward". My tax dude said i get enough money to put a roof on the house (damn this adult crap) and a bit left over. So... i figure an HS Ray could be an awesome pat on the back to myself for working so damn much. that and joe's got me gassing.
anywho... just wanted to say "hi". ill be around a hell of a lot more now (aka: back to normal-ish... if you could call us "normal")
