I thought I'd use a more obvious title and start a new thread. :D

My new 5H Bongo in Dargie Green arrived today. It's stunning. I played it for about 20 minutes tweaking the setup, and oiled the fretboard with Dean Markley Love Potion #15.

Here are some pictures I took in my front yard:

Holy Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

I am now officially in love with another bass, Jade'll be jealous;)

You need a 6-string, man, and you ain't got the funds;)

Pleeease?

Heh. It's not going anywhere. I'll worry about a six string Bongo when I actually see one.

SO BAD*SS!! Single humbucker too. Love the green around the grass.

I got my baby today too. It's like Christmas day around the forum. More like Christmas week since everybody is getting theirs too. We all ordered around the same time.

The Dargie green works particularly well on the Bongos.

That may well be the most desirable Dargie I've seen so far.

(Until mine shows up). :p

niiice! Is the fretboard as dark as it appears in the photos? Almost looks ebony.

Yep, it is that dark now that I've treated it with Love Potion #15.

Thanks, everyone. It still needs to be tweaked a little bit, but it's obvious that it's a killer.
