Why no....(lying through teeth to keep forumites especially export customers from the following:)

Dear Beth

Thanks for you quick response to thursday email and the even quicker response to yesterday mornings email and this afternoons PM. Im glad Johnny (that is the name for my new bongo) made it from milling yesterday and really happy to hear that he was lucky enough to be on the cart with other bongos on his way to sanding. the only question I have today is are any of the other BOngo's future Canadian residents? I would love to have a open house of sorts for these instrumnts with birthdays so close. When you get a chance this afternoon please just dash off a quick email of the colors and specs and anticipated completion date along with any info you have about the new owners for Johnny's relatives. Any of these new owners into The tragically Hip? GUess WHo?, Saga?

I know that you and Kevin have eighty countries to handle the sales marketing and fufillment but I am glad that you know it is the end consumers that pay your paycheck.

Reminds me of the time I reminded a cop that he was a public servant and he needed to get me a cup of water. I have no idea what happened next, but I don't think I got the cup of water....

Beth Duke here again!

Whats the weather like in the desert today? My uncle lives in Palm Desert during the winter. ANy chance that you could cater a meal for him with Poppa and give him a tour?
He doesnt play but my aunt bought him a digital camera and she wants to put together a little photo album for my birthday.

What is your favorite color? How much can Poppa bench press?

While you are at it would you mind just dashing a quick pm on the production breakdown by year of all two pickup basses sent to the northern hemishpere?

Thanks

Duke.....

P.s. Dont mean to bug you but I am still waitning on the adress I requested in the last email.

Errr...I wasn't asking you to do it, nor would I. I was simply enquiring as to whether you had that facility at your fingertips.

Thanks for the amusing reply all the same.

Oddjob why the frowny face? Are you sure that your bass is in SLO?

Long story short BP, my bass was @SLO and then sent out. THe dealer then shippid it on. However, in doing so, he shipped it to another DD Bongo H purchaser by mistake. So I am now awaiting his to arrive so I can join in all the Dargie love. Frustrating but it mistakes happen (and bitching won't make it ship any faster) - life is good (atleast I have a DD coming... I hope) - so I have my little frowny face as my way of venting and move on with life:D

bassmonkey I was just having fun But Beth and Kevin do get deluged. What happens is that they answer the first request promptly and then why not ask another. THIS time I m not picking on the Canadians but the worst customer on record was from Canada....Now he rarely posts.

I know you were having fun, and it was a funny reply. Just wanted you to know I wasn't asking so I could enquire about my current orders. That's all. I am a patient guy and the wait doesn't bother me. :)

As of yesterday, it was at the sort facility in Mesquite, TX.

I should definitely get it on Monday!

We are playing a private party next Saturday night. I'm thinking of debuting it there instead of waiting until the 20th at our next bar gig.

Sure wish I had gotten it before we played the 3 gigs that we played on St. Patty Day weekend. Se la vie.

Yes, you're right. And I sincerely appreciated the offer. (Although you didn't even offer to deliver it and pick it back up.)

It wasn't just that I wanted a green bass for the gigs, I was being childish and I wanted my green bass. :D

Nothing wrong with that (Jack probably would have charged you a bottle of Kettle for the "loaner" anyway ;) )
