Ok, I feel silly asking. But how does one remove the trem on the Petrucci? Is it the same for all EB MM guitars? Does it just pop out? or unscrew? Or is there a secret password I forgot to ask for? : )

I just got this guitar and it came with the trem on in the case, and yes I'm chicken cuz I don't want to ruin it yet..haha.

Thanks!,

If you're talking about the trem bar, you just pull it right out.

There's really no need to, unless you don't use it, because the case is designed to close with the bar attached.

'course, you could buy another one in matching color ... and have one with the trem arm in and one with the trem arm out;)

Nah, I don't think I could get another JP6DD at this point in time...

and I was mainly curious as it's a whole new guitar to me....

It's like a new car, you just want to flick all the switches and know what they really do type of thing..haha.

thanks again,

Owners Manual eh? Mine didn't seem to come with one. Also wonder if there was supposed to be a set of tools? I didn't see those either.

Cheers!,

I'm joking. There's no owner's manual. I don't think there really are any tools either. I'll have to check my guitars. I can't even remember if there are supposed to be any trem springs either. Unfortunately, I can't check now, because I'm away from home on business.

it just pulls out man although it is very stiff, when i first got my jp the bar kept on slipping coz i just put it in without pushing hard to click it in(i was afraid), and it comes with some springs but it doesnt come with any tools, i have heard people got some tools with it but in most cases i dont think there spose to come with any tools.

reguards, pete.

The MM cases allowing the trem arm to remain attached when closed is a very cool feature. Just another reason MM is the best!
