Okay, this one isn't worth calling CS about. Just looking to see what others have done:

Last night I noticed that the input jack on my fretted Bongo is loose. No biggie...the nut inside that's holding the barrel jack in place is just working loose. Happens all the time with barrel jacks.

My question to you all is, having had a bass with this type of jack before, I know two things:

1) It's a pain in the neck to tighten that nut adequately, which is why it comes loose in the first place.
2) It will happen again, guaranteed.

I'm thinking of putting a drop of blue loctite on the threads to hold the nut in place. I can see absolutely no reason not to do this.

Comments?

(IMHO the manufacturers of these jacks should put two nuts on them. The second nut would act as a jam nut, locking the first one in place.)

I am no expert on this...but, I have done this (Loctite) and had no issues. BUT, if it is not good to do...please let me know so I don't do that again! :D
