Unbelievable...
I was talking with some other guys on the italian bass forum about pickguards for MM and stuff...then a guy told me he has a Stingray really similar to mine
(and mine it's not a common one, sparkle black with birds eye maple neck) and I think "wow...another sparkle black in Italy! never seen another one"
the only difference is that his one has a matching headstock and no birds eye.
and then guess what? we discovered we live at 20 minutes of car from each other!!

so maybe we'll meet and take some pics of these 2 babies together...

Man, I miss my black sparkle SR4. If it had not had a bowed neck and fret sprouting, i'd still own that bass today. That thing felt like a toy. Maybe a hair over 8 lbs!
