Right now, I'm using the 535Q, 2 EMB remote wahs, and the 2sr rack wah and I'm anxious to get the EB wah.

Holy buckets! that's a lot of gear for getting a wha wha sound. It was much easier when I played trumpet and used a simple toilet plunger.

Well, I am happy with the tone of the 535Q, but I hate the switch, so I went ahead and ordered a 95Q (for it's switchless feature). I found it at samedaymusic.com for $105 w/ free shipping. Best price I found...

There are several covers my band does that I simply skip on the wah just because it is only a measure or two worth of wah and I don't want to fool with it because half the time it doesnt turn on when I hit it, or off when I think I have hit it. VERY frustrating. I think the biggest problem is that the floor is carpeted where we practice, but even so, I hate the switch...

I looked at the Morley carefully before I placed my order, but it looks cheap and generic and i've heard (on here and reviews) of them tearing up. All my crybabies have been solid as a rock...

I'll let you all know the final verdict once the pedal comes in...

Thanks for all your input.

BTW, that is one MASSIVE wah setup. And I thought MY decision was hard to make..............

Actually, I had the same problem too... But it's all solved when I stick a coin on the switch, much easier to engage the wah.

You can always raise the switch height a bit too. Or remove the front rubber stoppers. That makes it very easy to turn on/off the wah. What I normally do is remove the stoppers and adjust the switch height, usually down. That way I can then adjust the pot along the rack gear/teeth and it gives you a bit more range to use.

Also fwiw, Dunlop will mod a few of their wahs to be switchless like the 95Q. They do this for the rack wah controllers but I'm not sure which of the normal wahs can be modified.

:p It's just 3 rack wahs :) The 2SR is great, has a pretty good range of classic to modern dunlop style tones and with the onboard EQ it can really make for interesting wah tones. The 2 EMBs are a little different but both pretty much nail that oldschool Slash/Vai/Hammett live wah tone from when they used em too.

Ahem!

Been doing just that, thank you!

Sold my Dunlop Cry Baby ages ago, been waiting for EB Wah! There's a gaping dusty spot on my pedalboard! :D

I would suggest a Wonder Wipe to clean up that spot on your pedal board ... :D

Cheers to you for waiting patiently! Like it was said earlier ..

That EB WAH will ride the bad horsie right into the ground doing speeds in excess of 95Q mph and 535Q mph
.......... tears of adreneline will stream down your face as you cry, baby!!!!

Even though it is an EB wah w/ adjustable switch and LED indicator, just the thought of a switch makes me want to puke... ah, yep, just puked a little...

That's gotta be fun to tweak and play through.

Just out of curiosity, what's so bad about a switch or control? Does it rob tone or break down?

The Teese RMC Wizard wah is fantastic, and gets along well with all my distortion pedals :)
