Any chance to get just a custom wound dimarzio neck pickup (silo)?

Hey,

theres a nice silo at Ebay with a HSH setup, I would buy it and would like to replace the neck pickup with a normal dimarzio (silo special).

Is there any chance to get it from Ernie Ball and for which price?

I've heard they don't sell "proprietary" parts separately, so you might have to go for the nearest available DiMarzio pickup......or something Duncanish.
Someone who knows what they're talking about might help you soon .

The Silo HBs are DiMarzio PAF Pros, readily available to anyone.

Obvious question, why not just buy a Silo Special? 24 fret issue?

Actually, it might not be so easy to find a Silo HSS pickguard.

I believe the Special single pups closest match (if not the actual) are DiMarzio Blue Velvets

Actually, it might not be so easy to find a Silo HSS pickguard.

Possibly not an EBMM one, but they are pretty readily available from accessory companies
