Maybe if you show up next Friday afternoon at store #2 (Beller's) with a fistful of cash, you can lay your greasy paws on a Blue Dawn Bongo 5HP fretless.

Maybe....

Or maybe it's still not ready to ship out yet :D

In all seriousness, your bass was finished. It might arrive here next Friday. But then again, it might not - gotta love UPS :D

I figger the extra hour in between replies might have been some torture for you. Maybe I should have waited until morning!

Pete will never agree to packing himself in a box for shipment to Kansas, Tom. Plus, it'd be expensive as all hell.

Outstanding!!!!

Let me know what the UPS tracker tells you ASAP, so I can ask for the afternoon off.

If I can't get the time, will you be there Saturday?

And thanks for the torture...it was fun!

Finished? And no factory torture shots? I'm surprised.....

I'm looking for a Sterling, Trans Teal, Rosewood :p

I expect that one to arrive on Thursday.

Maybe if I used real peanuts instead of the foam packing ones...

I'm not in on Saturdays, but Nick will be there. I'll let you know when it is "supposed" to arrive. Could this possibly be the first fretless Blue Dawn Bongo to surface?

Unless I missed something, I think this is the first 07 LE of ANY kind to surface. And since BD was never offered on the Bongo, by definition it'll be one of the first, if not the very first, BD Bongos out "in the wild."
