This really doesn't anything to do with basses but, since I'm a bass player.......
During our 3pm break today at EB/MM, we watch a squirl grab an apple core not 2 feet away from us. It got startled when we applauded and he/she dropped the core. Determined, he came back out from underneath a parked car and retrieved his core and ran off into the open field to enjoy the spoils of his effort. This is how we spend our 10 minute breaks at EB/MM
Jongitarz, I told you I would post this!!

I was tossing bread into a little pond today, feeding some rather excited little catfish. A few turtles were loitering around the edges and I felt bad for them and started tossing things their way.

The catfish were having none of it. They attacked! I mean, the turtles were okay, they can pull their heads in and all that, but if they dared to go for a piece of bread, the catfish would bite them on the head.

two good things about the northeast....autumn leaves... & no scorpions......

And no hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, fire ants, kudzu, red clay, murderous heat, atomic flying cockroaches (palmetto bugs...all over in Florida)....

Sometimes it snows a bit. But not as much as it does in the midwest.

I kinda like it here. :D

I would have been more impressed if it was a camel spider that did it...:D

Now, if you can get the squirrel and his buddies to make a pecan pie...that would be impressive...hehehehehe....:D

Yesterday I saw the crows that got the hawk that got the squirrel that got the apple core.

Ok maybe it wasn't the same squirrel, but yesterday I'm walking out of Circuit City and this Hawk goes flying over my head carrying a squirrel. Right behind it was two crows. The birds then flew across the street where the hawk dropped the squirrel in another field. More crows showed up and an air battle ensued over the squirrel. Eventually all birds flew away and I never saw one come back for the squirrel carcass.

It was odd. It was like watching Planet Earth live.

I watched a mockingbird chase a squirrel across the street yesterday. Pecking his head for all he was worth. I laughed my ass off.

What are squirrels?

Scorpions are fun to watch .. the thing is though, we have to watch them through the window. It's just not worth the skin cancer, blister giving, throat parching, makes you pray your head isn't made out of wax, blaring sun. Aaahh southern California.

3pm break is the best!!
