What's the deal with the Axis Luke Model? I saw browsing Lukathers website and he has an Axis guitar that says Luke on the headstock and it's signed by Jeff Beck. Was this a one time thing? Just curious.

yeah its was a prototype made for Luke. would love an ASS with SSS.

it was actually a proto for EVH and me luke liked it and we put his neck on it Luke uses it for tele style stuff

If memory serves, the Axis Sport was discontinued to make way for the Subs and/or the Bongo...or something like that.
Not too many of them out there. I think the PG takes away from it. They also came in HSS as well.

I've got an Axis in Luke Blue. Does that count as a Luke Axis? I'm working on getting a really clear gallery of my guitars up on my website by the weekend. I'll keep everyone posted. Sorry this pic is so small.

i thought luke blue color option is only available on ebmm luke.. that's a great guitar btw..
