To all the fine stand up folks here, I love you.

In the midst of poop slinging I wanted to say that the folks here are amazing.

BP, Scott, Brian, Derek, Dan, Dudley, Beffie, Jon, Aziah, and any other EB employees, you are the best. TOP NOTCH.

And Jack, as YOUR name has been slandered, I want to say that you are the best. Meeting you in Dallas was too much fun. You are one of the coolest human beans on this globe.

I dont want this thread to down anyone, or rehash any details. Id prefer it to be a thread of thanks to all who make this place so great.

Simply put, you all rock.:D

Travis, did I call you Andrew the other day by accident? Having a two-year old is hampering my sleep patterns.

I love you guys, too.

Well Ben, yes you did. However, I knew that it was slip. I understand completely. You know, Ive said it before, but just for nostalgic value, Ill say it again.

Your posts have a tenancy to make me spew whatever beverage Im enjoying out of my nose. When I met you in Dallas, you lived up to the forum rep. You dropped some one liners on me and the real Andrew that were so funny, that I fought to maintain my composure. I was scared to death that if I laughed as hard as I wanted to that you would think I was a few fries short of a happy meal.

Ben, you are the S H I T E.

Well put, Travis. In case Jack's current good name feels too abused, you also inspired a new handle for him as well:

It's been a long time since anyone has used the name "Rocket Morton"--sounds like a nice methane-related alternative alias to the "bovine" reference.

No more poop-slinging around here. It's over, it's done, all that's left is to see how the last few pieces fit into the puzzle and maybe see what Barney Fife is up to these days.

I've often told you guys what a great forum this is, and it isn't because of me.

You guys make this one hell of a fun ride. Let's get it back to a positive outlook and everything will work itself out in short order.

Hell, Chuck got that back-asswards green thing - can't be all bad!

Just wait till Doo-Doo Baldo gets me that 20th SR5.

Keep it on the upswing, folks, we're good.

The folks at EB continue to impress the heck out of me too.

My DD Sterling is the finest MM I've ever owned, I have these great Wonderwipes to clean up my basses with - what's next??

Thanks to everyone at EB for the years of great service and awesome basses you've given to us all.

My grandson is going to be playing an EB bass soon.

Anyone that had anything to do with my EB basses has my undying gratitude.

honestly, i was in a bad rut a handful of years ago. no abuse or anything on my part but things kept going wrong and i was SUPER bummed. I was away from the forum for a lil while and checked one day and saw BP announce the 2 PUP basses.

Immediate i was excited - first time in months. i thought "i must have a sterling HS" then after that though - "but, im not in a band".

So due to that announcement i got off my ass started playing again, joined victim nation and got more actice here, made a ton of friends, played a ton of great gigs, met a ton of musicians that inspire me

this place kicks ass - it & the folks involved (incluing u dammit) have done a lot for me on many levels.
