Just got back from Steve's clinic at PMT in Birmingham...what a fantastic experience. I will never cease to be amazed by his playing and his humble nature. Awesome!! I just wish we had more clinics going on in the UK (this is th first guitar one i have been to!).

Anyway, here are some pics for those of you who couldnt make it.

And getting to meet the great man as well!

The only disapointment was that although is was branded a joint EBMM and Engl promotion, EBMM where not there and I was hoping to get the chance to try the JP6 before my one arrives. PMT have NO EBMMs on display but then that has always been the case :(

Didnt marr a fantastic show from Steve though!! :D :D :D :D

Steve's clinics are amazing. Great playing and great stories to go along with advice and always entertaining Q&A.

He's just a class act!

This is why Machinehead should have had a Morse clinic - tons of EBMM and Engl!

thanks for sharing the great pix.
I love to see Steve play his #1 nowadays, when he has the Y2D. The quilt on this one is great, but my favourite is #1!

did you ask him "what was it like to write the riff to smoke on the water"?

Ha ha no but he did a great bit where he was showing a warm up exercise he does before a show, normally when he is being interviewed....

"no that was the other guy"
"that wasnt me, it was the other guy"
"I wasnt in the band then"
"no, again that was the other guy"
"i have blond hair, his was dark"

It sounded better at the time

Sterling I would love to tell you exactly what happened from my side of the fence but I really dont want to air the dirty laundry in public. Is there a more private way? Obviously PMs are out :)

Daveb I will speak to the lads as to why we sent a clinic to someone without inventory

Before i get "the lads" into trouble, although no 6 stringers, PMT do have some basses out on the shop floor and whenever I am in their, the staff are always raving about EBMMs geetars which is why they got my order for the LE.

I'm comin down to DaveB next time for my AL though!

Visited PMT today, absolutely no 6 strings at all in stock, on checking, a lefty Stingray 5 was hidden behind some Amps and a Stingray 5 up by the Trace Elliotts with a dirty great gouge in the top of the body. Both were brand new.

But, there again we visited Denmark Street not so long ago and the stores weren't exactly overflowing there either.

EBMM are like the proverbial rocking horse ...... in the UK.

Its got to be Sheldon if you want to see some EBMMs in Birmingham. Last time I was there he had 3 ASs, a luke and a Silohuette as well as bunch of stingrays. He also told me he was only stocking high end instruments now and none of these starter packages which seem to take up most of the floor space in music stores these days!
