Nothing gets by Tommy! Actually, you're right....you can't get the same traction as the knurled version but I don't mind-I use a pedal for swells.

BTW, my cupboards are AAAA flame! (honeyburst )

I'm gonna be a complete stick in the mud and state that my favorite knobs on a rosewood axis are the cream strat-style knobs.
