Finally..........

I pulled the trigger on a Saffire Black 4H Bongo. I bought it from Soniq a Forum Member yesterday. It should be headed this way. I have waited months for this baby. :D

...........I'll post some action pics when it arrives and I get some new strings and set it all up.:D

It's been a long time coming, and now, the wait:( ............

I was hoping it would arrive in time for Sunday's Church Service, but you know how these things go. I'll try to keep my mind on other things and listen for the banging of the front door.....

I talked to the seller on the phone last night, Soniq a Forum member, he's really a great guy. I happened to be motoring my Big Truck down through Ohio last night about midnight when the cellphone starting ringing. We had a real nice conversation about the history of the Bass and such. He only reinforced in my mind that the Bongo was a great Bass.

I played a Bongo a while back at Guitar Center and really liked it, but was kinda put off by the look of the instrument. Like one Forum member was saying that the Bongo is showing up everywhere in music. I figured, why not Church? Seems the more I look at it, the more I like it:)

Big Poppa said in GC Video clip that about 20% believed that they "hit it out of the park" with the Bongo. I believe that number is rising quickly.;)
