Just got an Axis Sport with the soapbars in it. Bought it used in Beaumont, Texas at Guitar and Banjo Studio. I would like to know when EBMM stopped making the Axis Sport and why did they not make them anymore?

I love this guitar. I already have a SUB-1 and like it too. Actually the Sub is what made me get another MM guitar. Both are built with great quality and care.

I would LOVE an MM90 Axis Sport. I like the look of them much more than the Super Sport. Well done.

Someone knowledgeable will answer your questions soon.

I will get some picture tonight and post them in the morning. It is silver in color with a very nice maple neck. I really like the silent circuits in it. It is stone cold silent running through my Gibson amp. I have been checking it out for awhile and finally got it yesterday. Needles to say I am very tired today. I think the MM guitars are the best value for the money. If I ordered a guitar with a trem, birdeye maple neck, locking tuners, etc.. from another very big guitar builder, it would be a "custom shop" and cost me 3 times the money I paid.

Chris, I know the Axis Sport setup you are talking about. I'm pretty sure that the color is Pewter Silver.

I love my Axis Sport, I was practicing with it last night and it's one of my favorites.

Here's a few pictures of mine:

I love my Sport too! I would love to own a HSS or MM90 version one day.

I remember reading on JimiD's website (where has he been by the way??) that they stopped making the Sport to make room for the assembly of one of the bass model (I think the Sterling??)

Cheers!

Well if you would offer your red sparkle silo spec in return, I would have to seriously consider. Of course you would have to send your silo to me first to make sure it is worthy of my Sport:p

Sparkles are great aren't they?
