No it's just ash with a rosewood cap

Standard ASS with 90's is ash with a maple cap

and just to add to the confusion
ASS with buckers gets RPS 9's
ASS with 90's gets RPS 10's

My Axis Sport is basically the same apart from a hardtail bridge. It has a rosewood fretboard and the body is ash as I was told.
