Rob, congrats to you and your wife Belinda, there is nothing better in the world man.

Enjoy the time, it flies by, mine are 8.5 and 5.5 and I can remember the exact moment they were both born.

Rob, congrats to you and Belinda. Welcome to several months of sleep deprivation! All worth it, though. ;)

Kids are the best. I spent the evening wrestling with my son while my daughter made candy with my wife. I gave him a wedgie and dubbed him "Mr. Wedgiemoto" as we had a martial arts battle.

And he's only three now..

Congartulations Rob! I'm going to be a dad (for the 3rd time) at the end of July. You'll find that your kids will bring you even more joy than playing with your balls! :) I know, heresy! But it's true!

BTW, I love the name Tom - awesome!

Good luck with everything and I hope ALL of you are and stay healthy.

You really didn't name your kid AL? I mean, I can understand passing on Sterling and Silo, but AL??? ;)

I love this photo, Tom was getting seriously annoyed at the nurse, and made his "i'm gonna rip your face off" look.

You rule dude!! Two more balls in the house.:D

That is pure gold!!!! Funniest thing i have heard in ages!!!!!!

You know, for months i joked to Belinda about calling him Albert, but it was just too funny really. Somehow i knew allyou guys would ask that though! :D :D :D

I have to say i'm very taken aback by all your comments, i sincerely thank every one of you, it goes to show what a tremendous place this is, what a great forum. In fact calling it just a forum is almost an insult, if ya know what i mean. There is so much depth and compassion here its quite amazing.

Its not all rosy so far, we are still at the hospital, Tom is in special care right now, he has a few things going wrong, but nothing too serious- low blood sugar, a skin infection, bit of jaundice. So he's not happy right now, and for a while he is being fed every 2 hours right now which is REALLY HARD for all invloved! Poor little guy wants to sleep but he isnt allowed too. Hopefully all will be good, the doctors arent worrying too much, though we do have 3 of them working on him!

The first guitar he will see will be a ball for sure!!!!

Don't worry, Rob. I spent two days in the hospital with my son under ultraviolet lights for some of the same things your son is experiencing. It will be fine, and then you'll be on the most wonderful adventure of your life! There is NOTHING like parenthood!

Congratulations Mommy and Daddy!
