Cincinnati: Wheres the music stores? Oddjob?

Going to Cincy Friday afternoon. Used to live in Delhi. Anyhoo, where's the good stores at? I might take a bunch of trade stuff. Mike's Guitars still around (near U.C.)? I have all day Saturday (depending on Skyline). Oddjob, If you're near Delhi, call DeWayne (me) at 513-922-5458. Hell, call me anyway... what's a roadtrip for anyway! I'm crashing at my Bro's house.

Is Midwest Music still around? I heard that Rusty was trying to get it going again with some more boutique stuff. But I've been away from Cincy for almost 9 years.

Franklin is way to far up north it's like 40+ miles from Delhi. I don't know about the boutique stores but Guitar Center is in Forest Park. (Cincinnati Mills Mall) right off I275 Plenty of Mark Bass stuff and EBMM to play with I work right there and go over at lunch time to play around. If you want to check out the Markbass stuff that's where you will need to go.

Yeah, but Franklin is only about 20 miles or so from Forest Park. Isn't Dave Hussong's vintage shop in Franklin? But I do agree that for EBMM & Markbass, GC is the best Cincy area place to go...but since Mike's Music was mentioned, I presumed vintage gear was on the itinerary as well. Gary Dick is also in Cincinnati, although I don't think he has a presence in any storefront.

Yep, the GC in Forest Park has Markbass. Had pretty one of each about three weeks ago anyway.

Midwest Music is still alive and open.

Mike's Music is up on short Vine by UC. He also opened a second store in Covington.

Dave Hussong's Fretware Guitars is indeed in Franklin.

Gary Dick does not have a store front -- virtual store only.
