I was in a local shop playing a gorgeous sunburst HH 'ray and noticed the spacing was a bit off at the end of the neck. The E was noticeably closer to the fingerboard edge than the G was.
There was also a Dargie HH 'ray and a 2007 LE Pacific BB with the same condition (wow, beautiful colour on those two). Is this how the spacing is supposed to be on Stingrays, to keep the G from pinching off the edge?

The nut slots are measured from the center of one to the other. It looks like the spacing is off because the strings get larger toward the top. Totally normal.

Ok thanks, but I'm pretty sure it could be a neck issue instead of a "nut" issue. I'm looking at it at the end of the neck at the pocket, the spacing there is where things are off.

I guess I'm totally anal when it comes to stuff like this....but would there be room to manually shift the neck back on centre, like on a Fender bass do ya think (ie. loosen the strings and neck bolts and re-position/re-tighten)?
