My wife is dragging me to Chicago this weekend for some work related stuff that she has to do. Her parents live there, which is why she wants me to go. I told her that I would only go if I could go to GC and get a Markbass cab to go with my 210 combo.

I like the way that my Ampeg 115 sounds with the 210, so I originally planned on getting the Markbass 115. Now I'm starting to wonder if the 410 would be a better match.

I've run a 610 setup on another amp that I used to have and I like the way that it really seems to cut through the mix, but I'm also a low D addict and like the way that a 15 handles it. Anyway, that's my dilemma.

They ran a 210 and 115 setup at Jack's party. Was a very nice setup and more than handled 2 nights of abuse.

I like the 102P with the 410. Its tighter and louder, if thats what you like.
the 15 is great but I like a little more lower midrange cllarity.
The ultimate would be a 412 if there was one by MB.

WOW.

Since I'm currently stuck in Korea, I've yet to demo or see any of this Mark Bass Gear in the flesh. So all I can say is that 210/115 stack looks so freaking sexah! For the medium/larger gigs I do, that would be such a perfect rig.
I'd take that set up over 4 10s, 6 10s, or maybe even 8 10s!

I love 15s, then they love my open B.

OT: How is the MarkBass Horn?

I like my Eden combo's horn because it's not all bright and hissy 100% of the time, and it's transparent and easily tweeked.

I remember my old SWR rigs had these god awful horns that blarred "HISSSSSSSSS" 100% of the time when turned on. So, I either shut them off and flat out pulled the POS out with a screwdriver.

Any soundbytes or comments on the MB Horn/Tweet?

You can easily tweak the horn. The VLE on the amp essentially rolls out the highs so you can dial out the hiss. The 15 has a volume control for the horn on the side of the cab, so you can cut it out completely if needed.
