Is there such a thing as to many??????
I have three and yet I still am wanting that 20th Silhouette. Any suggestions on how to get this one past the wife?

You never can have to many, especially if you have the neccisity(sp?) for it and you want a 20th and nothing will ever do what a 20th can do or sound like a 20th, therefore the need is greater than the want.. I only have one Ball and need alot more...but I will have two in 4-8 months!

...no advice from me here as I'm currently not involved in marriage stories. Just decide what gets the bad boy going better - the girl or the guit-fiddle ?!? :D

Right here's a quick checklist:

i) If you have any children, are they having to go to school barefoot?
ii) Has a debt collection agency recently made any attempt to reposess your car/ house/ children ?
iii) Have you resorted to hiding guitars from your wife ? (I did have a stint of keeping undeclared guitars at friends houses a couple of years ago).
iv) Has your wife actually left you yet ?

If the answers to all of the above are no then you're laughing and my advice to you is to go buy something immediately !

hmm. . . I'd have to say that Brett probably has too many guitars. How many EVH's does he have now? probably one for every day of the year. We can dream, can't we?

ive wondered that from time to time and my conclusion has been to not think about it. i have, i think, 10 balls now and i like and play em all.

i figure the easiest way to slip one passed a wife etc is by actually having too many. they probably wont notice the 11th or 12th one ;)

I've always been a bit against collecting lots of guitar. I say that only for myself, not anyone else. I've found that no matter how many guitars I own, I usually only pick up the one that is my favorite.

I just ended up getting rid of my Les Paul and a very nice G&L Invader because neither of them would ever get played as long as my Axis was in the room. I have a JP on order because it offers me a fully floating trem and acoustic saddles in one package. Plus I love that guitar. I fully suspect that it may become my main axe when it arrives.

Now THAT is using the ol' noggin! Everyone, buy 10 more at once. 'Cept it'll only work if you meet her AFTER you've got a good collection going... ;)

Well you can never have too many unless you get one you did not expect and need to fund it, having multiple balls is great but sometimes they come at you from no where.:D

I'd trade all my EB's for a good wife. :)

Maybe if you had a 20th, we could consider a trade. Just kidding of course.

So far I have two EBMM guitars, one bass and an acoustic. I would love to get one more guitar... but that would probably be about it. I just wouldn't have room for more gear. Maybe when my kids move out.... ;)

I like this concept.
I just need help getting from 1 to 2, then 2 to 3.....
I don't think I can drown them out until I have at least 5.
