Hi everyone,

This is Phil Rich, Director of Electric Guitars at Guitar Center. I met some of you at the EB Forum bash in Dallas last year - hope you all are doing well!

We're shipping 15 BFR Petrucci's in Trans Black out to some stores this week and I wanted to give you all the heads up as to where they are going. According to Scott, we're the only retailer to order this particular guitar so let me know what you think when you see it.

Each of these stores will get ONE.

San Marcos
Hollywood

San Jose

North Chicago (Arlington Heights)

They should ship to the stores mid-week and arrive by Friday or early next week. Please let me know when you see one!

Next month we'll be getting ten (10) Luke's in Bahama Blue Burst as well as five (5) Petrucci's in Trans Walnut. If you want to buy one from your local Guitar Center and not hassle with shipping, drop me a line and I'll make sure your local GC gets one up front.

That's incredible, they are shipping! Great news!

Nice to see that a big retailer is ordering so many.

I know that L&M in Canada has 8 ordered in various colours.

"Local" means any Guitar Center can get it.

If you DEFINITELY will buy one of the BFR's that are coming soon, I'll have one shipped to the store of your choice. Please only make the request if you're sure you'll buy it.

Scott - thanks for the correction on the exclusive being the Bahama Blue.

Do you have pics of those with the sparkle backs????

Any word on availability? I have something on order at my local GC and might be tempted to cancel for one of these BFR Lukes.

Yup just like the original one made for Luke, which also had a sparkle back.

Will there only be 10 made of this variety?
