Dumb lefty question

Something just occurred to me.

On lefty instruments, do the pots still rotate in the same direction (i.e.clockwise to increase), or are they reversed?

I just checked, counter clockwise to increase. That’s why left handed basses sound a little better than right handed ones, you should convert!

I'm like you, BP. A hybrid (I say "mutant" when speaking only about myself).

I write, eat and draw lefty. Everything else I do righty.

So you have to source custom pots for left-handed instruments?

Wow.

It's not just the pots, but the tuners, pickguard screws, pickup winding, and battery polarity. There is a small up-charge for a lefty for a reason.

I'm so glad I started playing righty. I do everything else left-handed, and I learned from my frustrations buying lefty golf clubs. Just a couple of weeks ago I went to a local golf warehouse store to look for a new driver. The place was HUGE and they had one little rack of left-handed woods. I can order one no problem, but finding one to try is pretty much impossible.

My old guitar player's faucet in Philly was hot on the right side and cold on the left, I would turn what I thought was the 'cold' water on and burn the hell out of my hands. That always pissed me off. LOL. Luckily, my home faucet is the right way around. LOL.

That's another thing I love about EBMM. I'm right handed but I think it's pretty damn cool that they don't charge you guys out the @$$(and they could) for all that extra work that goes into a Lefty model.
