I've eaten at Micky D's all over the world, a tradition of sorts, but if Ben ain't eating there no more then by God neither will I!

I had three equally, potentially very stomach-unkind choices of food at 3 a.m. while driving through Denton, TX going home from Jack's: Waffle House, IHOP, or McDonald's. Let's just say I was finally able to leave the house safely today at noon after two of those little, unassuming McD's hamburgers.

Ben, when I was on the road we ate late night Waffle House meals ALL THE TIME.
Being the younger, stronger fella I was then id have the triple order of hashbrowns, with Chilli, onions, jalapenos, and hot sauce. those were the days. That same meal now would have me "out of pocket" for at least a half day now.

i visited maccyd while on vacation here in .no..
nuthn special, in fact i thot they skipped out on salt.. it tasted nothing! nothing at all.. then i added some salt and it was edible
i think all those health freaks have made junk food into something it isnt.. semi-healty.. why not add every bit of fat you can.. imho it tastes better that way

Last time I ate there I had a McChicken and thought the lettuce tasted a bit funny. Of course like a dumbass I proceeded to polish off the entire bacteria infested thing and was riding the samonilla express for 3 days.
Man was I sick.
Good thing was that it I lost more weight than I would have a Jenny Craig!

I can sympathize with anyone who has had food poisoning!
That playful little jaunt to the hospital not only put me off Cajun food for life!
But it cost me a damned fortune as well!
No more Gulf Coast style for me.

Must be goin' around... I just spent two days recovering from a seafood dinner... and that wasn't cheap...

Whilst having no connection with them, and certainly being no fan of their 'food', I am surprised to hear stories of hygiene/quality problems.
I used to work for a Company that was a major supplier to them, and the one thing you could say for McDs was that they maintained consistently high preparation/storage standards across all of their 'restaurants', in a market notorious for widely varying and often dodgy standards.
All of their ingredients across the world were/are? produced to identical specifications and standards. They want you to be able to order a burger in Bangkok with same confidence you would order one in London for example, and receive exactly the same product.
Perhaps things have slipped recently..........?

yup never had bad food from mcD's,mind you i have never had good food there either i just mean i never got sick from it,always ultra clean and i have been in them all round the planet and it does taste the same no matter where you are,it may not taste good but it does taste the same
however my wife did find a maggot in her chicken curry last week,she ran out and puked it up,the sound of her getting sick nearly put me off my chowmein.
ten minutes later she came out of the toilet and saw me still tucking in to my dinner.......ran straight back in to puke again.....hey the maggot was in her food not mine!!! i do hate eating while someone is getting sick behind you
