Skin-effect causes problems as well. In theory these values will affect what you hear. In practice, debatable.
i wouldnt touch wireless unless i absolutely had to...
1. compander circuitry.. will not ever make your once so dynamic bass sound real..
2. impedance matching throughout the system. some systems might have impedance matching from your bass into the system, but it still will have lo impedance output which wont be near what your bass behaves like
3. due to limits in transmission technology there will always be limited frequency response.. if you got a 5 stringer, be sure to use cable whenever you can.. cutoff frequency is usually around 40-50hz depending on manufacturer...
if you have to go wireless, check the x2 system.. no compander at least
ps: i wish they would make em for the scandinavian market one of these days..
