Built a pedalboard this afternoon. Finished with new pics.

Got some boards, black paint and velcro from the Depot. Got the electrical parts done but am still waiting on the cable kit.

Check out my limited edition Big Muff.

Umm, that's a shameless public display of your insecurities as a real bass player...

...apparently

It's done!

Well it turns out that the pallet style construction was a good idea. I don't really need to get a cable kit to make everything look neat. I just tucked everything away and tied em down. Still the three Loooper is a mess to wire up.

Sooooo in less than 2 hours of work and about $30.00 worth of materials, I went from this:

The green pedal is a placeholder for my GT2.

Figure that a much smaller woodboard from PB makers will cost from $50 to $100 in a gig bag. My final cost will be about $100 when I buy the Huge size metal case from Rondo. But lookit the size of this baby :hyper:

Aussie, I'm gunna steal that Deep Impact from you.

Mark what are the Unibass and Deep Impacts pedals Like?
I think the deep impact isn't made any more

Scott, neither of the Akai pedals are available anymore. I bought the Deep Impact on the recommendation of some guys at another forum, and based on the great reviews it gets, after failing to get any satisfactory synth sounds out of every other bass synth pedal I've ever tried. It tracks really well, and I can finally cop those groovy 80's synth sounds I've been after.

The Unibass is a really unusual pedal, in that as well as octave effects and overdrive, it can also add a 4th or 5th to the note being played, which is really cool for filling out the sound in a three piece or when the guitarist is wanking out a solo. Like the Deep Impact, this pedal tracks flawlessly.

Hey mark thanks for your comments
I might have to try and find Deep impact because I too have not found a proper synth pedal as well, thanks for the heads up.

No. It's not silly.

See, here is how it works.

You have one pedal. So you go out and build a pedal-board that can fit twelve pedals. Now you are obligated to buy eleven more pedals.

See?

It all works out fairly well in the end.
