Just wanted to say it's a bit sad to see Norm go. Even though I don't understand half of what he writes (and he smokes all the time) he's been on these forums a long time.

As an aside, I had once been asked a while back by an international forum member if I would buy a guitar and ship it, and as much as I wanted to help them out, I said I just wasn't comfortable doing that. I felt like sort of an asshole at the time, but less so now.

The tough part is this community has spawned a number of friendships as a result of it being such a cool place and all the things the company does for us to bring us together. So I can see why people want to help others here.

I wish there was a way for Norm to undo what he did. I'll never forget the Dallas party at dinner when I went up to Sterling and told him I just found out Norm was engaged.
Sterling replied, "Who's the lucky guy?"
Then Sterling made a nice announcement a little later congratulating Norm.

Also...I'm glad I don't have any guitars on order with Norm.

Thanks guys, comments like those make me glad I do what I do! Phatty did a great job making the database easy for me to use. I just spent the last hour or so entering SKUs for the ErnieBall guitar/bass section. I will be putting up some pictures of the first pre-sold BFRs as they arrive between now and Tuesday. EB accessory SKUs will probably be up on the weekend, and the rest of the site will get their SKUs shortly after. It's a constant work in progress, but it's fun!

ya know... doing the database and php for petes site made me realize that he has/sells a ton of MMs. i did the initial data entry so that the site wasnt "empty" and kept thinking... "man, i wanna try that one out" or "damn, that's nice"
