That's not an LE - notice the lack of the '2007' inlay at the 12th fret. No D-Sonic either. It must be an original blue dawn...

I was going to write that I wanted 1 but I think I want 2 a Luke and SS. I'll have to keep my eyes open on EBay to see if either of these pop up. I can't wait to see what next years LE color will be.

Yeah I have the original. Is this a rarer one? I only recently found out that they stopped making this color.


How does the whole Limited Edition system work? I remember seeing that link that showed all the available colors and samples of them but I cant find it now.

And thanks for the compliments, I've been in love with this thing for 4 years.

The only thing on my list I guess is a Taylor Acoustic since I got my electric baby working for me.:D

All sparkle colors were discontinued, I believe, at the end of '02/beginning of '03.

Do a forum search for exactly when and why.

Blue Dawn is the 5th ltd ed. color EBMM has done.

The past ones were:

Radience Red, which became a regularly available color, but the ltd. had a black headstock
Envy Green, which also had a black headstock
Buttercream
Black w/gold harware
Blue Dawn Sparkle

Looks like EBMM is now in the habit of offering a ltd. ed. every year.

Nice BD Pet. Baby it, 'cause she's kinda rare.
