Tried Markbass - but ended up with this. Phil Jones Suitcase with 4B extension cab. WOW:eek: An amazing amount of tone - power - sound - clarity - low end! Unbelievable!!!

Hey I was looking at those in a mag, love the design. So the verdict is awesome?
Sweet, I may be trying some of those out sooner than later. :D

WOW, we would have the same setup more or less with the DD Sterlings.

I thought you were going to go with a pair of 4b's and the LMKII, what made you change your mind?

I must say I really like my 4b with the LMKII.

A ten minute conversation with Phil Jones helped me change my mind. Very nice guy - great input as to how things should work together. Decided to give this direction a try. Got a few days to change my mind - but I doubt I will.

Tom - I still have the Bose equipment. The Phil Jones stuff is for gigs where a sound system is aready present. Most of our gigs are private - so the Bose covers all our needs - amps/monitors/PA - all in one. The few times we play at a bar or other event with sound - out comes the "regular" amps etc.

I little more trend bucking. Just got a Phil Jones Flightcase - which is a 150 watt combo with 4 of the 5" NEO speakers, 2 pointing up and 2 pointing out the front with 3 big round ports. Incredible sound - clean and can get very loud. Total of 24 lbs. Can carry it in one hand and bass in the other. Sweet.

this is sounding more and more like a great idea.

between the 3 places we record...........24 lbs sounds quite reasonable.
