I have now had my BFR-F1 for a couple of weeks and this weekend I used her for the first time on stage. I had a lot of fun with this guitar. I use a multitude of sounds, clean, crunch and distorted often with delay and chorus effects. The BFR-F1 impressed me with its gorgeous clean tone and responded very well to time-based effects. The lead tone was so pure and responsive; very inspriring.

I thought this would be a good test of the painted neck since the place we played had no a/c and it's in Baltimore. I was impressed, no problems at all with stickiness. Actual is seemed faster than the regular gunstock finish.

The only problems I had were rig related since I didn't have time to recalibrate all my patches and, besides, it's getting a little long in the tooth. I was using a JMP-1 pre and a Marshall 20/20 power amp into a slant vintage 4x12 cab. The processor was a G-Major which can sound less than transparent without the correct EQ, so that is something else to play with.

If anyone has any questions then I would be happy to answer them.
