Buttercream Sterling for $1125, or Blue Dawn for $900? I think I know what I'm doing already, but you know.. Like to ask..

Jason, I'd say go with the Blue Dawn, but then again I'm biased because I love sparkle finishes :D. When it came time for me to get my first EBMM I had originally settled on a NOS Buttercream Stingray, but quickly changed my mind when I saw the Blue Dawn Sterling. Mine has a RW board and no matching headstock. No regrets at all.

How about a one year old HS black/MHS/rosewood/black ice in amazing shape?

(I haven't thought of a price yet - just that I am going to start selling a few "extra" basses)

PM me if you want to discuss further.

BC - if you were talking a Bongo it'd be a toss up but since there are all the LTDs AND original BDs floating around you'd be harder pressed to find a BC later.

I would do WJWD. Actually, I don't think you can go wrong with either. The Buttercream might hold a little more value because it's LE. But the Blue Dawn is a really cool color and it's cheaper. I'd probabyl go Blue Dawn.

Buy the butter cream and sell one of your kidneys and place an order for the blue dawn before the window closes.
