That color rules!! I doubt I'll ever own it but it's amazing. Long live sparkles.

I bet the church band drummer has a sparkly set - and he never asked if it was too flashy in the Ludwig forum.

If my wife will let me order a Sterling HS Blue Dawn, you better believe it's getting played in church!!!!

My church? No...they love my flashy basses at my church. I get comments on them nearly every week. Now if we're talking about the Apostolic church down the road...I don't even think they let acoustic guitars in there. I think if I walked in there with a Blue Dawn Bongo they'd riot.

Beth is an angel

I don't think it would be too flashy at all... such a heavenly color!
BD is no more flashy than what it's name implies ... how flashy is a starry sky?
GOd is also the original creator of all things flashy;)... it's people who muck things up.

church is probably the best place to celebrate Blue Dawn:)
"this litle light of mine ... I'm gonna let it shine!!!:)

history is ever-repeating itself

is the church really such a big thing in the usa?

here in germany nearly nobody goes to the chruch. (exept chrismas and eastern)

I s'pose it depends what kind of preying you're into;)

I am coming in on this a bit late but I played my blue dawn in church and it wasn't too flashy. The finish is very tasteful.

I can't even begin to comprehend why the colour of a church band's instruments would be an issue. Unless you're playing at a funeral service.

I have been playing in churches for years. I can't think of a single church I played at that would of objected to a Blue Dawn bass. I used to play this bright red Fernandes bass in church. No one ever said anything negative about the color of that bass. I did have one old lady ask me to turn it down once. She said certain notes made her ears ring. Then I saw the hearing aids in her ears and it all made sense.:p
