While I realize you folks probably have a ton of details to work though, please let us know asap when you have the important stuff finalized - like dates and signup sheets - so we can start booking airfare. I just checked the JetBlue prices to Ontario and they are really good right now. I'd like to book as soon as I can...

We have a phone call into the US tour manager for Toto. The date is still listed on the site and we should have word in an hour or two with confirmation.

Hopefully this will work and we can start planning......soon!!!

Fingers crossed. Just checked air fare from DC area to Palm Springs. Cost is reasonable right now. Well as far as airlines, nothing is reasonable, let say doable :D

Sounds AWESOME, this is going to be a great party, and makes me glad to be a forumite and a MM player.

Pretty sure I can't be there tho -- I've got a string of gigs through September, and I think maybe two that weekend. Oh well, I'll toast you all between laying down the groove with my smokin SR5!!

You lot can fly into Phoenix direct from Gatwick for £337.00 with return.

And I could come and pick you up! It's about a three hour drive to Palm Springs after that. But it's direct and not too expensive! :D

Man, I wish JetBlue flew out of DTW. Straight flights between DTW and ONT would be great! Going to have to settle for Northworst, probably, going from DTW to LAX.

Well flights out of VT for JetBlue are really no picnic. I do think they are the best, but most of them go through JFK - which is a mess due to all the construction and rearranging. For some reason, the connection gates are always at opposite ends of the airport. I really wish they'd connect somewhere else. Right now though, I'm showing $99 each way - which is hard to beat.

...back to your regularly scheduled topic....don't want to hijack the thread into airport discussion. ;)

Oh you guys are dreadful! :D We are looking at all of the options - just to see if we can do it. At the moment it looks unlikely (in some ways not enough time to save up for it), but we are looking. We can fly to Ontario for about the same price - PSP is waaaay more expensive.

But we don't know. We really want to, but I think it's more likely to NOT happen at the moment :( We'll keep our options open tho. I've got a week's leave booked around that time anyway, as it's my bday on the 28th, and our 5th wedding anniversary on the 2nd Oct, so would be great if we can swing it!

So Phattduck, you are flying? We may drive, I think it's about a 7 hour drive, not bad.

BP, I can't believe you are doing this again...your last party was a highlight in my life.....one of the all-time great experiences...you are an amazing guy. I can't wait to see the Factory tour, I always wanted to see how the strings were made.:D

I don't think my work is going to let me off....... I REALLY wanted to take part in this event.... I hope everyone has a wonderful time, best wishes to everyone, and hopefully I can make the next one!
