Thanks to all of you guys, specially to you, Mynan!

Tomorrow or next week I'll talk to my dealer and see where this is going... Do you mind if I keep posting on this situation to get your help and advices?

But to do this I must be absolutely sure that in natural color the painted matching headstock is not an option. Are you guys ABSOLUTELY sure?

Thanks;). I'm already loving this forum!

Definitely keep us posted.

I'm sure that someone more "official" than me will chime in soon, but I'm about 97% sure that natural and stantard headstocks are the same thing.

Just call your dealer right now and say, 'hey there should not be any charge for a standard-natural headstock so take it off the total'.

And I will, but not today ;)!

Don't forget that I'm on the other margin of the Atlantic Ocean...

And JayleGrove, the very first thing I did after signing for the forum was to read the usage rules, SPECIALLY the post by Jack and Big Poppa!:D

One must know always how to behave...

Welcome! Well done! SR5's are great, you will love it! Harmonics too! Then you will try a Bongo! It's a well-worn path!

Ah Portugal! You have nice weather there don't you? Like sun and stuff

Thanks, GreyDad!

And yes, I can't complain about the weather or «stuff»...

As a matter of fact, I might go and get some colour in this skin during the weekend!:D

By the way, I have one question. I read some reviews that said that the SR5 had poor harmonical response, mostly on the higher pitches. I don't know whether this is true or not, but its worrying me because harmonics are fundamental in my playing style.

Does anyone can enlight me about this? Thanks ;)
Buy/Download the 2nd track from Tony Levin's Resonator album titled Places To Go. If you still think there's an issue with harmonics then I can't help you.

Oh, and somewhere there's a video of BP showing off the harmonics on a Bongo. It's only a matter of time before the Bongoloids get you.

+1

I sat 6 ft from him and watched him play that at the UK clinic. I went straight home tried it and found I'd learnt something totally new from the guy :)

BP's demo of Bongomonics as amazing... it's on the Guitar Center website
