Hey Jack, that's cool ! Congrats to Jeremy and you !

My 15 year old daughter plays drums and that's the biggest failure of my life : I never could lead her to bass playing.

Hopefully Jeremy will start putting his fingers on a Bongo soon ;)

that neck needs to be wonderwiped

Does anyone believe that Jeremy did the neck? I have a atty in Lagos if you do.

Nice work Jeremy and Jack

We traced - okay, I traced - the outline of the bass so the neck looked pretty straight to begin with. As far as the fretboard goes, he really did the initial design (the ultra-fanned frets were all him) and then I cleaned it up some and we colored it together.

He's mighty proud of it and I just read him all your comments. A smile that would light North America appeared. He's still five, so he can be completely insane and unreasonable, but he is a really great kid.

Jack, we'll have to introduce him to Morgan (4 1/2) and has that same insane thing going... and she seems to have a thing for Kermit... maybe it's just kids and Bongos all together!

Jack, you and your son did some pretty awesome artwork. That kid's definitely got some talent. I wish I drew like that when I was 5. Hey BP, can we have a Bongo with stars and moons on it? I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
